The Reformed Church Women’s Ministries is comprised of a number of teams of women who serve according to their gifts and passions. There are eleven teams in all. Each team sets its own agenda of activities and meeting times. All the teams get together four times a year. At these meetings each team leader gives a brief update of her particular ministry and a time of fellowship and encouragement in the Lord follows.


The Visitation Team – delivers sunshine baskets to those shut in or in hospital.

The Card Team – sends letters to the sick and bereaved and those needing encouragement.

The Missions Team – supports local missions (soup kitchen, Life Centre) and international missions including supporting churches in Malaysia and Uganda.

The Welcoming Team – reaches out to newcomers.

The Music Team – organizes special music.

The Decorating Team – beautifies the sanctuary to fit the season.

The Crafts Team – makes rag rugs, general crafts and quilts.

The Kitchen Team – organizes the kitchen and sees to it the necessary supplies are obtained.

The Food Ministry Team – prepares funeral lunches and refreshments which follow special services throughout the year.

The Support Group Teams – provide support and meals as needed for new mothers, widows and aging parents.

The Transportation Team – arranges transportation for those needing rides to worship services, Bible studies, special events and so on.

The Bazaar Team – organizes and runs the Holly Daze Bazaar on the first Saturday in November.
